Brian Sutton and Doug McEwan were on the Safety Boat and Vince Le Plastrier was Time-keeper out on the pontoon, with Wendy Kropf and Jill Ashton assisting.
A wonderful support group gathered on the beach to cheer us all on.
With light winds and a glorious sunset, Peter Deane and Arend Brandt took line honours, followed by Michael Stephens and Digby. The all-girl team of Alene Ivey and Julia Harmer got a big cheer for coming in third, ahead of Guy and Peter Lawson.
With dying wind, Kevin and Mark just managed across the line but poor Rob and Barbara had the choice of a 
tow or a paddle in the dark. Better luck next time!
